Please write down the answers to these questions:

1. Why might you want to do the things necessary to lose weight?

2. How ready are you to do the things necessary to lose weight? Use a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 means "not ready at all" and 10 means "totally ready."

3. Why didn't you pick a lower number? Or a higher number? If you picked 1, what would it take to turn that into a 2?

4. Imagine you've lost all the weight you wanted and are at your ideal weight. What would the positive results be?

5. Why are those positive results important to you?

6. What's the very next thing you are going to do?
